iPad Timeclock Troubleshooting Tips

Q: What if the iPad is off?

A: Press the Home button to turn it back on.

A: Tap the Cloudapper icon to start it up.  

 

Q: What do we do if the internet is down.

A: Each site should have a back timeclock setup on a device with a cellular connection.     Contact your site troubleshooting contact.

 

Q: Why does the screen say Warning 600?

A: This means that a critical update is needed.  Please see the instructions later in this document titled “How to update Cloudapper.”

 

Q: What if Internet and Cellular are both out?

A: Timeclock punches will need to b recorded on paper and HR/Payroll needs to be contacted ASAP.

  1. Restarting the App

 

 

  1. Double tap the iPad Home button to display the app boxes and swipe upwards on the Cloudapper box to close it.

  1. Once closed simply reopen it by clicking the Cloudapper icon shown above.

 

  1. Logging in & out of Cloudapper

Occasionally it takes a bit more then a restart and we need to log the device out to refresh the connection.   To do that follow these steps:

  1.  First, complete the Restarting the App steps above.   When the app restarts, you’ll be presented with the Add Punches screen, as shown here:

  1. Click the hamburger icon in the top right corner, and then select Logout, as shown here:

  1. You’ll be taken to the login screen and asked to log back in.  Login using the admin1@wwninc.com (password available from IT) as shown here:

  1. Updating the App

Occasionally we must update the app.  A mandatory update would cause an error like this:

Follow the steps below to do an update.

  1. Open the App Store.  It’s not always in the same place on every iPad but this is the icon you want to click:

  1. Once the App Store opens click the Account icon in the top right corner:

  1. On the Account page, scroll down, if needed, and locate the Cloudapper item and click Update, as shown here:

  1. That’s it, once the update is complete just reopen the app.

 

  1. Set up a timeclock

 

  1. Install the Cloudapper app from the app store.
  2. Login using the admin1@wwninc.com account - (password is available from IT) 
  1. Add a new user

 

  1. Login to Cloudapper
  2. Apps -> Go to Home
  3. Manage Users
